Reading Goal Labels are a simple tool to enable you to personalise the reading goals for your readers.

Reading Goals: Compehension, Fluency, Word Solving, Monitoring and Correcting, Range, Stamina, Motivation, Volume of Reading.

Increase the effectiveness of your reading conferences by catching the moment, catching the goal. Anchor it on the label; written, drawn, or both. Have students keep the reading goal in a prominent place (reading journal, bookmark, etc.) as they practice their reading independently.

When the reading goal is achieved, paste it into portfolios, communication books, Can Do or Celebration books.
